Original MkIII 37 Pattern Sten / Bren Magazine Utility Pouche
Introduced in 1942, the MkIII Pouch Featured a Number of Changes over its Predecessors.
Firstly its Length was Increased by ½” so Sten Gun Magazines Could Fit In A Metal Drainage Grommet was Added to the Base of the Pouch and late in WWII the Press Stud was Replaced by a Two Part Quick Release Buckle.

Killed in Action 20/3/1918 the Somme.
Marked to the Rear with a W in a Circle and 37 to the Front by the Rear Paw. There is Another Faint Mark to the Front Paw.
